Buck's old building would be an ideal "all around" building for Rockwell - recording, Opry shows, fund raiser dinner shows.....the problem is renovation and money. Would be nice to be able to restore it.

I think Favorite Nation has a great idea. I have thought about that for a long time. Everyone knows where "Buck Owens old recording studio" is located. I don't have any idea who even owns it anymore. I have been trying to send out invitations, but have had trouble so far. I will just keep on trying. There aren't very many of us yet, so I am excited to be on this merry go round before all the good horses are taken :o}

Maybe Rockwell can purchase the old "River Theater" building up the street from Trout's. It was Buck's studio for years after it was a theater. Could be a nice recording studio again or part of your museum. It's vacant I believe and has been for years. Buck started Bakersfield's first FM station there, KKXX and then KUZZ. Memories. :)

My real name is Richard but people who have known me since school still call me Richie, that's how I can tell how a person knows me as I became Richard in college and in my professional life. NHS class of 1972 so any of you know me will surely remember me, I'm not easy to forget. Ha ha. Won't drop names but a lot of REAL musicians became my friends over the years, they know who they are. FB has put me back in touch with many of them. Perhaps Rockwell's site will become a means of sharing old memories, I look forward to that.
